Inclusion Without Borders is more than just a slogan – it is a shared vision embraced by organizations of persons with disabilities across the region that work every day to remove barriers and create a society of equal opportunities for all.

As part of the CORDIAL project, the regional sub-granting program has supported 30 civil society initiatives that address the specific needs of persons with disabilities within their local communities. These projects cover a wide range of areas, including employment, education, accessibility, independent living, and the empowerment of young persons with disabilities.

Although they come from different communities and countries throughout the region, all participating organizations are united by the same belief: inclusion knows no borders. Through their activities, they help create new opportunities, strengthen cooperation with institutions, develop innovative support models, and build communities in which every person can reach their full potential.

We are pleased to present the stories, ideas, and achievements of these 30 initiatives in a special edition of the “Inclusion Without Borders” newsletter. Each project demonstrates how local actions can drive meaningful change whose impact extends far beyond the boundaries of a single community.
