The Youth with Disabilities Forum and Caritas Serbia invite associations working with and for persons with disabilities to apply for participation in the two‑day training titled “Animation and Active Participation,” which will be held on March 24–25, 2026.
The training is organized within the project CORDIAL – Inclusion Without Borders, supported by the European Union and Renovabis.
The training is intended for organizations that wish to strengthen their capacities for encouraging active involvement of their members, developing inclusive practices, and enhancing internal policies in line with the principles of participation and democratic decision‑making.
Over the two days, participants will have the opportunity—through presentations, group work, individual exercises, and plenary discussions—to:
- understand and apply the principles of participation, inclusion, and intersectionality in their work;
- develop practical skills in stakeholder mapping, community animation, and identifying opportunities for collaboration;
- create a draft of an internal policy based on:
- democratic work and decision‑making practices,
- a code of conduct ensuring space for active involvement of members and service users,
- an ethical code;
- strengthen capacities for collaboration in planning, developing, and monitoring services together with the people who use them.
