Academy for Business Skills for Women with Disabilities: The First Week as a Tailwind!

The first week of the Academy for Business Skills for Women with Disabilities sparked strong energy, inspiration, and new knowledge that opened doors for participants toward personal and professional empowerment.

On September 22, Stefan Golubović, Director for Business with International Corporations at UniCredit Bank, spoke about business communication skills. Through a dynamic lecture and interaction with participants, important questions were raised about how we build professional relationships, communicate with confidence, and present ourselves in the business world. Participants had the opportunity to explore the importance of clear, effective, and professional communication in the workplace through concrete examples and an interactive approach.

On September 26, Marija Lekić, Strategic HR Development Manager at NLB Komercijalna Banka, led a workshop dedicated to efficiency and achieving 100% productivity. Through practical tasks and open dialogue, participants explored ways to better manage time, focus, and work capacity.

The atmosphere during the first week was filled with enthusiasm, support, and a shared desire for progress. Participants demonstrated exceptional motivation to develop their skills and lay the foundation for future professional success.

We thank the lecturers for their dedication and UniCredit and NLB Komercijalna Banka for their hospitality and recognition of the importance of such initiatives. Their willingness to share knowledge and experience with the Academy’s participants represents a valuable contribution to building a more inclusive and supportive business environment.

The Academy is implemented with the support of the International Women’s Club Belgrade, in cooperation with: UniCredit Bank, NLB Komercijalna Banka, Generali, BlackRock, IDEA, All About People, A1, Banka Intesa, PWO by Lottomatica, Delta Transport Systems, ProCredit Bank, and Delhaize.

The first meetings have shown that this Academy has the potential to drive change—not only in the careers of participants but also in the way an inclusive and empowering business environment is built.
