On September 15, 2025, at the premises of the Youth with Disabilities Forum, the first meeting of participants in the Academy for Business Skills for Women with Disabilities was held, officially marking the start of this important empowerment program.
The group of participants demonstrated exceptional motivation, openness, and readiness for mutual growth and development. From the very first meeting, a strong sense of energy and mutual support was evident, further confirming the importance of such initiatives.
The Academy program begins next week and includes a series of educational activities—workshops, lectures, and meetings with experts from leading companies. The goal is to provide women with disabilities with concrete support in developing business skills, strengthening self-confidence, and preparing for the labor market.
The Academy is implemented with the support of the International Women’s Club Belgrade, in cooperation with companies: UniCredit Bank, NLB Komercijalna Banka, Generali, BlackRock, IDEA, A1, Banka Intesa, PWO by Lottomatica, Delta Transport System, ProCredit Bank, and Delhaize.
Special thanks go to McDonald’s, which donated meals for the participants, further contributing to a pleasant atmosphere and shared experience.
