Youth with disabilities Forum (YDF) is a civil society organization focused on improving the quality of life and social position of persons with disabilities. YDF was established in Belgrade in 2005 and until now has implemented more than 80 projects, with more than 8000 direct participants. Our projects and activities are aimed to support the development of inclusive society on local, regional, and national level.

Place for supporting both employers and persons with disabilities in hiring process. Portal enables direct communication between job seeking individuals with disabilities and employers with open positions.

Network of employers

Informal network gathers employers to streamline long term and sustainable employment for persons with disabilities. The network serves as a place for gathering, advising, informing, consulting and raising the capacity of domestic and foreign companies, as well as other interested subjects, operating in the territory of the Republic of Serbia. In addition, the members of the Network use the services provided by Youth with Disabilities Forum, which refer to the search of the Web Portal, i.e. database of candidates for employment, support in reasonable adjustment of the workplace, training for employees and consulting services.

“I have participated in few projects via Youth with disabilities forum such as “Preparation for a job interview”, “Career guidance and profiling”, and a range of other free courses for persons with disabilities. That helped me obtain new skills and become more competitive on the labor market regardless of my handicap. It streamlined my education and career and helped me make new connections. Being a student on two faculties and a part time employee, that form of support really meant a lot to me. Also, big shoutout to the YDF personnel, they have always been kind and available when needed.”

I have found out about the Forum via my association for children with cerebral paralysis from Prokuplje and decided to participate in their activities. The Forum provides great personal support, as well as expert support for employing persons with disabilities. Moreover, they provide support through workshops. I wish them best of luck and to keep growing to a national level association. All the best and hoping for future cooperation!

I am very satisfied with YDF work and activities they organize for persons with disabilities. They provide new opportunities for persons with disabilities like the Preparation for the job interview workshop. They have helped me write my resume and apply for jobs. This year they have provided us with many job ads and a one-year course for persons with disabilities, as well as internships. I have only words of praise for the Forum. YDF activities should be on national level and reach small towns, instead of just Belgrade.

MilosI have been a member of the Forum for almost a decade and had a chance to participate in many self-development and career improvement workshops such as: Activate for employment, Profiling, Career guidance, and English language courses. Workshops were properly segmented and interesting. I made some new friends and I have only words of praise for the Forum.
