PUBLIC CALL

for participation in the two‑day training

“Strategic Planning for Associations Working With and For Persons with Disabilities”

Date: March 3–4, 2026
Location: Belgrade, Serbia

The training is organized within the project CORDIAL – Inclusion Without Borders, supported by the European Union and Renovabis.

This two‑day training is intended for representatives of civil society organizations that work with and for persons with disabilities and wish to strengthen their capacities in strategic planning and long‑term organizational development.

The goal of the training is for participants to acquire practical knowledge and skills for developing and improving a strategic plan, strengthening internal organizational capacities, enhancing teamwork, and defining goals, priorities, and development directions of their associations more clearly.

The training is designed as an interactive process, with practical exercises and work on real‑life examples. Participants will be encouraged to view strategic planning as a tool for sustainability, development, and strengthening the impact of their organizations.

Each organization is required to register two participants, preferably:

• one person involved in management or decision‑making (e.g., coordinator, board member), and
• one person actively involved in the organization’s program activities.

During the training, participants will have the opportunity to:

participate in practical exercises for developing elements of a strategic plan.

understand the basic principles and phases of strategic planning;

identify the organization’s mission, vision, and key strategic goals;

analyze the needs of beneficiaries and the environment in which the organization operates;

Organizational Information

All costs related to transportation, accommodation, meals, and training materials during the event will be covered by the organizers.
