The third week of Academy for business skills for women with disabilities brought a strong focus on topics that shape the modern work environment and contribute to empowering participants both personally and professionally.
As part of the lecture titled “Unconscious Bias and Microaggressions,” delivered by A1 Serbia, speakers Vladimir Milenković, HR Partner, and Irina Đurović, Senior Training Expert, opened an important and often overlooked discussion on how unconscious behavioral patterns affect interpersonal relationships. Through interactive dialogue, participants had the opportunity to recognize their own patterns, understand their impact, and learn how to overcome them in order to build healthier relationships and establish boundaries.
The week concluded with the session “Time Management and Work Organization,” led by Enis Rušiti, Team Leader for Employee Training and Development at Banca Intesa. Using practical tools and real-life examples, participants developed skills in setting priorities, planning their workday, and maintaining focus in dynamic work conditions. The topic resonated strongly, as it directly addressed challenges many of the participants face on a daily basis.
Beyond the expert-led sessions, the third week also served as a valuable opportunity for networking, sharing experiences, and further strengthening the participants. The atmosphere of support, understanding, and collective growth remains one of the Academy’s most defining qualities.
The Academy is implemented with the support of IWC Belgrade, in collaboration with partners: UniCredit Bank, NLB Komercijalna Banka, Generali, BlackRock, IDEA, A1, Banca Intesa, PWO Lottomatica, Delta Transport Systems, ProCredit Bank, and Delhaize.
The program continues in the same spirit in the coming week, with new topics and lecturers who will further enrich the participants’ knowledge and skills, guiding them toward an even stronger professional identity.
