On December 2nd, as part of the employer support program through the Employers Network for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities, the Youth with Disabilities Forum (YDF) organized a training for employees at PepsiCo. This training is part of YDF’s ongoing activities aimed at educating and supporting employers in implementing inclusive practices, with the goal of facilitating the employment of persons with disabilities and creating equal conditions in the workplace.
The training covered key topics such as the institutional framework and rights of persons with disabilities, as well as the use of proper terminology. In addition to the theoretical part, participants had the opportunity to learn about inclusive procedures and best practices in the field of employment for persons with disabilities. The training enabled valuable exchange of experiences and information, and the active participation of employees contributed to better integration of inclusive principles in the work environment.
The Youth with Disabilities Forum continues to work on strengthening employers’ capacities for the employment of persons with disabilities, creating equal opportunities, and contributing to social inclusion.
The training was implemented within the “Job Fit: Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities” project, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and carried out by the Youth with Disabilities Forum. Other project partners include Caritas Serbia, Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, Smart Kolektiv, and the Center for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities of Serbia.
