As part of supporting employers through the Network of Employers for the Employment of Persons with Disabilities, the Youth with disabilities Forum implemented training for IKEA employees.

 

The training was carried out on May 25 and June 13 at the premises of the IKEA company and included the education of employees about the institutional framework and the rights of persons with disabilities, as well as about the use of correct terminology. All participants had the opportunity to become familiar with inclusive procedures and examples of good practice in the field of employment of persons with disabilities.

 

 

The network of employers for employment of persons with disabilities was established by the Youth with disabilities Forum in early 2021, in order to provide companies with strategic support in their more active approach to long-term and sustainable employment of persons with disabilities.
