On March 22nd, the Youth with Disabilities Forum at the Career Center hosted UniCredit Bank associates who held a workshop on “Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance – ESG” within the European Money Week.
ESG is a new way of doing business, and ESG experts are becoming increasingly in demand in the labor market. ESG is a set of environmental, social, and management policies that companies take into account in the management of their business.
Beneficiaries were introduced to this way of doing business, its importance and difficulties in its implementation by an employee of UniCredit Bank, Maja Jerkić Bogosavljević and manager Jovana Zeljić. The workshop was an opportunity to bring people with disabilities closer to the importance of environmental, social and corporate governance and to exchange experiences and opinions on topics of wider social importance.
The workshop was conducted within the project Job Fit: Economic Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities, funded by the US Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Youth with Disabilities Forum. Other partners of the project are Caritas of Serbia, Foundation Ana and Vlade Divac, Smart Kolektiv and Center for Independent Living of Persons with Disabilities.
