On December 13, YDF organized a training session for employees of ProCredit Bank as part of its initiative to support employers through the Network of Employers for the Employment of People with Disabilities.
The five-hour training covered topics such as the institutional framework and the rights of people with disabilities, as well as the importance of using correct terminology. In addition, participants had the opportunity to learn about inclusive practices and procedures, as well as examples of successful initiatives in the employment of people with disabilities. Active participation by the attendees allowed for a valuable exchange of experiences and ideas, making the training even more impactful.
The training was conducted as part of the project Job Fit: Economic Empowerment of People with Disabilities, funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) and implemented by the Youth with Disabilities Forum. Other project partners include Caritas Serbia, the Ana and Vlade Divac Foundation, Smart Kolektiv, and the Center for Independent Living of People with Disabilities.
