Within the project “Job fit: Economic empowerment of persons with disabilities” , Youth with disabilities forum organized joint meeting of the advisors of the National employment service and career centers from 6 cities in Serbia (Belgrade, Novi Sad, Subotica, Zrenjanin, Nis, Valjevo) in which Career centers were established.
A joint meeting was held on October 6th, with the aims to introduce advisors of the National employment service about Career centers and activities that will be provided within them, and to establish cooperation between NES and Career centers on local level.
The significance of cooperation is reflected in improvement of support to persons with disabilities who actively seek job opportunities and professional development. We expect that the implementation of this innovative service, in cooperation with NES which is reflected in the referral of the job seeker to the service, will improve the effectiveness of employment system and enlarge economical inclusion persons with disabilities on the job market.
