On 29 January, the Youth with Disabilities Forum (YDF) hosted representatives of the Commissioner for the Protection of Equality at its premises. The meeting was attended by Milan Antonijević, Commissioner for the Protection of Equality, and Sanja Stanković, Senior Advisor in the institution.

During the working meeting, representatives of the Youth with Disabilities Forum presented the organization’s ongoing activities aimed at improving the position of young persons with disabilities. Special attention was given to the challenges young people with disabilities face, as well as to the importance of raising awareness about the available mechanisms of protection against discrimination.

The discussion also focused on opportunities for future cooperation, particularly in the area of improving access to the labour market, and on potential joint initiatives and projects that could contribute to building a more inclusive society.

The Youth with Disabilities Forum extends its gratitude to the representatives of the Commissioner’s Office for their visit and constructive dialogue, with the expectation that continued cooperation will strengthen the protection of the rights of young persons with disabilities and support their greater social inclusion.
