Belgrade, December 2, 2025 — The Youth with Disabilities Forum (YDF) and the “Education to Employment” Project (E2E) marked the completion of the project “Internship for Youth with Disabilities”, aimed at improving access to quality internship programs and strengthening inclusive employment policies in Serbia.
The event, held at the Zira Hotel, brought together youth with disabilities, employers, representatives of Job Info Centers, local governments, and the National Employment Service to jointly review achieved results, key insights, and next steps in developing sustainable inclusive internship models.
In the opening session, Slađana Lević from the Youth with Disabilities Forum presented the project’s goals and outcomes. Panelists included Anja Došen from Heineken and Hristina Mladenović from Mlekara Šabac, while interns Sofija Drašković and Sergej Đurić shared their personal experiences. The panel was moderated by Milica Veljković from YDF. Participants then watched a short film showcasing real-life experiences of youth involved in the project.
The second panel focused on support services for inclusive employment at the local level, moderated by Milena Janković from NIRAS Germany GmbH Belgrade. Panelists included Nevena Letić from the “Education to Employment” project, seconded to the Ministry of Labor, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs; Lana Martinović from the National Employment Service; Aleksa Pavlović from the Educational Center Kruševac; and Jovana Krivokuća-Milovanović from YDF.
After the panels, a formal certificate of appreciation ceremony was held for employers participating in the program. Certificates were presented by Tanja Radović Krstić from YDF, in recognition of their contribution to inclusive employment.
At the close of the event, participants were invited to continue working together and expanding the internship model to ensure equal opportunities for professional development and employment for youth with disabilities.
