Support to Employers for Youth with Disabilities Employability

Project goal: Support to increase youth with disabilities employment and employability in inclusive and sustainable way.

The Action got over shortcomings of existing practices and provided package of services that will strengthen employers’ capacities for development and implementation of sustainable inclusive procedures for employment of youth with disabilities.Youth with disabilities Forum established Network of Employers for employment of persons with disabilities, with full scope of services that directly meet employer needs and give continuous support in the process of employment.

At the same time, young persons with disabilities are provided with services of profiling, career guidance and counseling through sessions with subject matter experts. Profiling enabled proactive approach to improving position of young persons with disabilities and enhanced their inclusion into the labor market. Career guidance provided support with education, choice of profession, and change of employment.
