On Monday, May 27, 2024, representatives of YDF and Caritas Serbia visited the Career Center for People with Disabilities in Subotica.
On that occasion, they attended a personal development workshop where eleven students of the final grades of “Dr. Svetomir Bojanin” secondary school perfected their CV writing skills.
Personal development workshops are one of the numerous services of the Career Center that are available to persons with disabilities with the aim of strengthening and developing personal capacities in the job search process and preparation for inclusion in the labor market.
For workshop participants and guests from Belgrade, Caritas Subotica organized a visit to the bakery and pastry shop “Zvezda”, which employs people with disabilities, and whose work concept is based on social economy and production according to traditional recipes.

It was an opportunity for young people to get to know the work process, to feel the atmosphere of working in a collective, but also to taste the delicious pastries prepared in the aforementioned bakery.
