As part of supporting employers through the Network of Employers for Employment of Persons with Disabilities, the Youth with disabilities Forum implemented training for leaders and top management of the IKEA company.

The training was held online on June 16 and included the education of employee leaders and managers on the institutional framework and rights of persons with disabilities, as well as on the use of correct terminology. All participants had the opportunity to become familiar with inclusive procedures and examples of good practice in the field of employment of persons with disabilities.

The network of employers for employment of persons with disabilities was established by the Youth with disabilities Forum in early 2021, in order to provide companies with strategic support in their more active approach to long-term and sustainable employment of persons with disabilities.
